Greetings to all!!
As we struggle to catch up with the rapidly changing world around us, the objectives of education at school level has also seen many changes. As parents and teachers it is a challenge to adapt to these changes as well as help the millennial generation to cope with the ever increasing demands of performing in academics, sports and co-curricular activities. We expect them to excel in the fields we choose for them or they take up for themselves. In all this we seem to be running out of breath.
It is time to stop and catch our breath, it is time to reconsider that we can achieve much more if we channelise the energy that flows in their talents, passion and potential.
Growth and progress would be sweeter if we become patient listeners, encouraging speakers and true practitioners of civility.
Positive reinforcement and the time we spend constructively with them will surely make the world a better place for our coming generations.
Warm wishes,
Anurita Bakshi
