Besides the various activities done across the branches of the Institution, a street play was performed by the students at the prominent 1090 round-about of the city, on the evening of July 20.

The play revolved around the rapidly changing digital scenario and its impact on overall well being. The bystanders stopped to witness and reflect on the reality check presented by the students. The phrase delivered by the students was profound and left and impact on the public at large.

The students of Spring Dale College, Indira Nagar, have made us immensely proud by winning the CISCE Zonal Basketball Tournament under the U-17 category, organized by Gurukul Academy. Their remarkable performance and unwavering dedication led them to secure the top position, qualifying them for the regional competition.

This victory not only highlights their exceptional talent and teamwork but also sets a new benchmark for excellence in sports within our institution. Congratulations to the entire team for their outstanding achievement!

The one thing that can keep us mindful and fit is Yoga and meditation. On the occasion of International Yoga Day the benefits of practicing Yoga were told online, like it reduces stress and anxiety, improves blood circulation, promises us a long and healthy life.

Students participated in doing the Yog Asanas embracing the ancient practice of Yoga and celebrated the unity of mind, body and soul.

We bow our heads in homage and love to our beloved founder mother Krishna Sood. Her zest for life, resolve to do good and care are motivation to us.

In fond remembrance a prayer meeting was held at all the three branches.

The CISCE Zonal’s Lawn Tennis Tournament 2024 showcased remarkable talent across various age groups.

Avi Saxena from Class VI secured the first position in the Boys U-14 category, while Varun Singh from Class XII claimed the second position in the Boys U-19 category. Ansh Saxena from Class XI secured the third position in the same category.

Their achievements highlight their skill and dedication, contributing to the success of the tournament. Congratulations to all the winners for their outstanding performances.

The ninth edition two-day B.S. Sood Memorial Inter-School Table Tennis Tournament that began on May 6, 2024 at our Gomti Nagar branch was smoothly conducted and drew to a stupendous close on May 7, 2024, among much fun and frolic. It was followed by the prize distribution ceremony that was held within the premises.

The winners of the tournament were –
1 st Position Team Event boys – Lucknow Public School Kanpur Road
1 st Position Team Event Girls – La Martiniere Girls

The best player of the Tournament – Darsh Srivastava.

Spring Dale College Indira Nagar Running Trophy for the overall championship was bagged by La Martiniere Girls. The trophies and medals were awarded by the President of the institution, Major S. K. Khanna, the Directors Ms. Sangita Midha and Ms. Reeta Khanna. The exciting event came to a close with a promise of meeting the budding players again next year with greater enthusiasm and vigour.

In a thrilling showdown at the ICSCE Zonal Volleyball Tournament hosted at St. John Bosco in Gomti Nagar, the Under 14 girls’ final match between students from our Indira Nagar and the Dr. Virendra Swaroop Public School was a sight to behold. Amid the intense competition, our students displayed remarkable teamwork, skill, and determination throughout the match, earning them the well-deserved 2nd place. Congratulations to the team for their outstanding performance.

An outreach program was conducted for the students of Spring Dale Institution by a resource person from Ashoka University, Sonipat- one of the top 10 universities.

The talk was on the scope of humanities and the trending careers related to the stream. Students were apprised of the facilities available and the various programs running in the campus. He also spoke about the subject options one can choose for the career of their choice.

Candidates undergo 12 months of training for entry-level IT services and digital support roles. This is a hybrid training program focusing on the overall education and personality grooming of students to make them job-ready.
