On April 24, 2023, Spring Dale College, Indira Nagar observed
“World Reading Day” with the theme SPRING DALE COLLEGE READING TOGETHER in recognition to the value of reading.

It is a proven truth that reading fosters creativity and imagination. It is an effective instrument for enhancing language and writing abilities. Students that read more often have better morals, ethics, and life lessons. The need of the hour is “reading” and indeed the celebration of “reading”, revives the good old habit of ‘reading.” Keeping the same in mind and to encourage reading, all the students read, together, their favourite books for almost 30 minutes at the very beginning of the school day. It was peaceful reading session that was observed on the occasion and was clearly visible that every single child enjoyed it.
