The Awareness day 2025, commenced with garlanding of the founder father’s memorial; a gesture of deep respect and gratitude for his vision and values. This was followed by an all-religion prayer, reflecting the inclusive and secular spirit of our Constitution. The Director, Mrs Rita Khanna addressed the students and spoke about the vision and ideals of our founder father. She spoke about his unwavering belief and the importance of fulfilling one’s duties towards the nation and contributing meaningfully to society.

The Students of Classes IV and V recited a poem titled ‘Duties of a Citizen’, expressing with innocence and pride how every small action contributes to a greater national good. The poem was followed by a powerful Nukkad Natak, where senior students portrayed how Rights and Duties go hand-in-hand, using real-life situations to highlight the message. The event concluded with all students taking a pledge, declaring themselves as “Responsible Children of India”, promising to uphold the Constitution not just in words but in everyday actions.

At Kanpur Road Branch the Awareness Week unfolded with a solemn and heartfelt tribute to the Founder manager, Late Sir B.S. Sood. A soulful all-religion prayer was sung by the students, symbolising the spirit of harmony and unity.

A reflective summary of the week’s enriching journey was then presented, revisiting the core themes explored—ranging from the values of the Preamble and the rights and duties of citizens, to the rich symbolism of India’s national emblems. As a powerful expression of patriotism, the students raised their voices in unison to sing the spirited anthem “Jai Samvidhan, Bharat Mahan.” Teachers shed light on the fundamental rights and duties of every citizen, emphasizing their role in shaping a responsible and aware society.

The programme concluded with an eloquent address by the school director, who encapsulated the essence of the Constitution and its guiding role in nation- building followed by a pledge “We The Children Of India” and national anthem. The ceremony drew to a close with the collective recitation of the Preamble, reaffirming the students’ commitment to uphold the ideals of the Indian Constitution.

At Gomti Nagar Branch, a special assembly marked the day, beginning with an all-religion prayer, followed by a heartfelt act by the pre-primary students on ‘Fraternity’. Students of Class V recited a poem on ‘the spirit of Preamble’. A group song titled “Meri Shaan Samvidhaan” was presented by the students, highlighting the importance of our Constitution. Students of Classes XI and XII then led the school in a collective pledge to uphold constitutional values.

In classrooms, students wrote the pledge in their Scrapbooks, reinforcing their commitment of being responsible and aware citizens. The week concluded with a sense of pride and purpose, leaving students inspired to uphold the values of the Constitution and carry forward the legacy of our founders.
