To mark the birth anniversary of our founder Mrs. Krishna Sood and to honour her vision, values, and lifelong contribution to education, we celebrated ‘Roshni’.. a children’s festival, on December 24, 2025.

The foundation of Spring Dale Institutions was laid by Ma’am Krishna Sood, whose guidance and dedication have made the institution a centre of life enriching and quality education. The day began with a special morning assembly devoted to remembering Ma’am Krishna Sood, highlighting her inspiring life journey and core values. The assembly proceeded with a soulful song dedicated to her “Samman me hum sab khade hai” creating a solemn yet motivating atmosphere. This was followed by garlanding and offering flowers by the management and the staff members to pay tribute.

The celebrations continued with great enthusiasm as students participated in a variety of creative and fun-filled activities, including flower arrangement, cooking without fire, Pencil, Sketching, Mehndi designing, Calligraphy, Pencil shaving and Leaf art , Origami making, Worli art, Paper candle making, Cake decoration, salad, arrangement, and designing school magazine cover. This was done to bring out the creativity and hidden talent of the students. The event truly reflected the spirit of ‘Roshni’, spreading light, creativity, and inspiration among the students while paying a heartfelt tribute to the founder of the institution.

A solemn and emotionally moving tribute was paid to our past President, Major S. K. Khanna Sir, on his first death anniversary December 17, 2025.
The assembly became a moment of collective remembrance, gratitude, and reflection for the entire Institution. The morning began with our respected Principal sharing heartfelt memories of Major Khanna. Recalling his life of integrity, service, and unwavering commitment to the institution. She emphasised that he believed deeply in the potential of every child and led by example, teaching values not through speeches but through his conduct.

The Vice Principal then addressed the students and staff, remembering that Major Khanna’s presence around us commanded respect, and his quiet strength and discipline left a lasting impression on everyone he guided. Adding a deeply personal touch, a student spoke about the reassurance and confidence Major Sir inspired. The child recalled how his calm words and gentle guidance made students feel protected and motivated to do better. It was truly felt that a person never truly leaves us as long as their values live on. Though Major Khanna Sir is no longer seen walking through the corridors with his warm smile, his spirit continues to guide us.

A team from HCL Technologies, led by representatives of the Joint TechBee – HCL’s Early Career Programme, visited  our Kanpur Road Branch on December 2, 2025. The objective of the session was to encourage students of Classes IX & XII to consider joining HCL’s Early Career Programme immediately after passing out from the school, thereby enabling them to step into the practical world of internships and employment alongside their academic pursuits.

The team explained that TechBee is a specialised programme designed for Class XII graduates who wish to build a career in the field of technology. Students enrolled in the programme are offered full-time employment with HCL Technologies upon successful completion of skill training in the fundamentals of Information Technology. The programme includes comprehensive classroom training as well as an internship component, which provides students with a paid stipend and valuable industry exposure.

Unlike traditional degree pathways where placements occur only after graduation, HCL now offers sponsored higher education, covering college fees and guiding students throughout their learning journey to ensure smooth and confident entry into the professional world.

From the students’ perspective, the session was highly informative and enriching. It provided much-needed clarity and served as a ray of hope in an age filled with academic and career uncertainties.
