Mental Health Week
(10th to 18th October)

Realizing the importance of making mental health for all a global priority, Spring Dale, Gomti Nagar, observed ‘Mental Health Week’ by organising a ‘Talk Show’ during the assembly. Senior class students not only apprised the school with one of the commonest mental illness of depression, its causes, symptoms and ill-consequences but also redressed all the queries related to it with equal ease and interest. The Talk Show was a big success and received well by all. With the painful experience of the pandemic that has and still continues to take its toll on our mental health, the ability to reconnect on the occasion of ‘World Mental Health Week’ was a befitting opportunity to rekindle our efforts to both protect as well as improve our mental health. The Talk Show was concluded by the school counsellor who shared enlightening facts and suggested some important tips like:-

  • Confide in someone to feel lighter.
  • Report any such case you come across, to the concerned family members.
  • Keep your self-engaged with whatever you like to do.
  • Meditate/ listen to music.
  • Surround yourself with positive people.
