First day of the awareness week witnessed assembly activities by classes 3, 6 and 7. The beautiful rendition of song by classes 6 and 7 brought to the fore the inexplicable suffering of nature and her desperate call to humans to save her. Student of class 3 pledged their support to sustainable development through their splendid dance performance.

The teacher speaker for the day was Mr. A.V. Prasad sensitized the children that ‘We’ are responsible for current environment threats so ‘We’ have a duty to preserve it.
Awareness assembly was held on 22ndJuly’2019. Students of class XII put forth ‘Parliament scene’, in which the leaders of the opposition party are shown questioning the government leaders about current environmental degradation problems in India
Ministers of different departments answered them with facts and figures about the government plans.
In the end the ‘Prime Minister in his touching speech humbly requested the citizens of India to understand their duties and take a step towards preventing climate change.
In order to celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna, a celebration was organized in Playgroup, Indira Nagar Branch on 22 Aug 2019. All children came beautifully dressed as Radha & Krishna. To make this event more colourful and cheerful , the whole class was decorated beautifully. Story telling was done wherein children enjoyed listening to story of Lord Krishna. They enjoyed dancing on Radha-Krishna songs. Class activity was organised where children made cards for their parents, which they all carried home.
Children of Playgroup, Indira Nagar Branch celebrated ‘Healthy Day’ on 2 Aug 2019, with the slogan – ‘Be Happy Be Healthy’. Children enjoyed reciting rhymes as – ‘We need food, we need water , lot of sleep…..’ to foster love and drill importance of eating all vegetables. They enthusiastically participated in the class activities like with the magic box, children recognizes different vegetables and fruits without seeing by touching, tearing and pasting activity brought fun and developed their motor skills and with the yoga session they were made to understand the importance of healthy exercising.

‘WORLD HEALTH DAY’
‘World health day’ was observed at the Indira Nagar branch. Posters were displayed showing the importance ofhealth and children spoke about the importance of having a healthy body and mind, in the assembly.
Presentation of Classes III & IV
Our core values remain with us throughout our lives like our
fingerprints. Students of classes III & IV at Spring Dale School,
Gomti Nagar branch showcased the values like faith, belief, honesty,
politeness, and bravery in their class presentation. A song on
fatherhood and a nukkad natak on good touch and bad touch were the
show stoppers of the day. The program was highly appreciated by the
parents as they were happy and contented to see their little ones
learning the basic values from this tender age.
Summer Cool Day

The Gomti Nagar Branch commenced the Awareness Week on 17th July with the theme Striking for a safe climate – Our Endeavour. On day one the students of the senior classes through a power point presentation and a song related to Global Warming, laid down its causes & effects.
Taking care of the environment should be everyone’s responsibility and privilege at the same time. In order to maintain a healthy ecological balance on this land, animals, plants and marine species are as important as we humans. Children of class I & II presented this through a mime and apprised us with the need of saving wild life.
Children of Spring Dale School, Gomti Nagar participated in the first Inter School District Level Roller Skating Championship at St. Francis school, Gomti Nagar on the 4th& 5thMay. Five children got medals at various levels. Congratulations to the winners.——–Gauri Shukla, Akshat Singh, Hamza Jabir, Satkart Sharma and Anushka Raman Shukla.
‘Let laughter be the best breakfast for a day’ with this note Ms. Meesha Vaibhav Kalia, alumni of Spring Dale conducted the theatre workshop on 27thApril at the Gomti Nagar Branch.
She focused on points like – Exaggerate your emotions. Be free. And nothing is wrong or right in drama
Children enjoyed the activities like depicting the scene of a market, railway station and hospital. She also had a communication game with them which the children enjoyed a lot.
It was an active and enthusiastic session for the children.
Circle Day was celebrated on 24thApril, 2019 at the Gomti Nagar Branch to reinforce the concept Circle. Children did circle printing and pasted wheels of the train, which they had taken as take home gift. They enjoyed both the activities thoroughly. In their snack box they brought circle shape chapattis, bread, idli, etc. Circle Day was a playful day where learning became fun.
