To mark the birth anniversary of our beloved founder director mother who was very talented and creative this day is celebrated on 24 Dec 2017. Due opportunity and time is given to the students from all the classes to express and enjoy their creative streak. The theme of this year was – ‘I feel happy when………’. The day had Story telling, creative writing, painting, collage making and extempore speeches, all on the given theme.
Kanpur Road Branch
A special assembly was conducted by the teachers of Spring Dale College, Kanpur road branch to commemorate the birth anniversary of the beloved Founder Director of Spring Dale Institutions, Late Mrs Krishna Sood. She was a great visionary and an exemplary mentor . Under her dynamic leadership and untiring efforts, quality education was imparted to the students to uplift the economic growth of the country. To honor her commitment and contribution to the society, like every year, this year also ‘Roshni’- a program to celebrate creativity to spread the light of knowledge and happiness was celebrated. Roshni marks the birth anniversary of Late Mrs Sood(24th December,2017). Children indulged in various activities to portray the theme of this year’s activity- ‘I am happy when..’.
Children of Playgroup, Nursery and K.G. modeled their favorite things out of clay. They did thumb printing and recited poems of happiness. Classes 1 and 2 undertook Origami and drew to bring smile on others faces as it makes the world look more beautiful. ‘Being Arty’ and wall hangings were prepared by classes 3 and 4. It looked as attractive as an innocent child smiling . Skits and wrapped Christmas gifts were engendered by the students of classes 5and 6 to celebrate the love of giving. A picture story to express their gratitude, was presented by classes 7and 8 to recall how the kindness of people makes one feel. Class 8 displayed their love for nature by making paper quilling designs and showpieces. Amazing models were presented by class 9 to show their empathetic attitude towards people in need. Class 11 made chandeliers, a symbol of illumination , happiness and positively. These chandeliers emitted light of purity and contentment. They also gave handmade cards to the helping staff to laud their untiring efforts to keep things going on the campus.
