Spring Dale College , Indira Nagar celeberated their Annual Day on 19th November 2016 with the theme “ KARMA “ .The Director and the Principal , Mrs Reeta Khanna along with some parents and other dignitaries lightened the lamp to begin the momentus occasion of the Annual Day.
The programme began with the mesmarising Vandana – “Karm Hi Upasana” a well-choreographed dance depicted the different aspects of Karma .It was followed by the English play “Indelible Footprints” depicted the role of a teacher in enlighting the lives of many great people like Ashoka, Vivekananda, Hellen Keller whose Karma inspires us to follow their footsteps. The ball dance on the eve of Battle Water loo and the Kalinga war kept the parents glued to their seats .
The Hindi play “Karm Sarvoparri” conveyed that KARM should be the utmost priority of life as nothing happens by chance, or fate you create your own fate by your actions – that’s KARMA .The well-coordinated acts depicting the ups and downs of life , the nukkad natak and the qawalli enthralled the audience . The Dancing Shadows – a shadow dance , depicting the present scenario on violence , terrorism and immense sacrifices of our soldiers left the audience spell bound . The children of Samajik Vidayala , a dream project of our founders to help contribute to the society – recited a poetry on KARMA. The entire evening was enchanted by the multi-talented School Choir with their melodius renditions singing the theme song – Karma Ki Maya .
There was a great use of technology through multimedia presention in the entire programme . The Grand Finale became the show stopper of the day where the children dressed in costume of their respective item tapped their feet on the song “ Na Shaan Se Na Jaan Se , Jane Jayenge Hum Apne Kam Se “ left the audience awestruck. About 300 students presented a wonderful programme.
The programme ended with the Vote of Thanks extended by our President Major S.K.Khanna .
