In continuation of the workshop series for sensitizing the teachers on child mental health, the team from National Institute of Public Collaboration & Child Development, addressed the group of teachers involved in teaching the students of Class II to Class V standard.
Mr. N. Khan, the programme director accompanied by two resource person interacted with the teachers and discussed the significant pointers relating to child mental health. The core contents of the session were as follows:
- Learning & Behavioural Problems in students
- Strategy planning to intervene in the cases of Dyslexia, Dysgraphia & Dyscalculia.
- Case studies of various students dealt by the Child Guidance Centre in the recent past.
As a part of our learning & development program launched for the teachers, the workshop provided an informative base for the teachers to understand the learning problems of the students, and discuss about the cases they usually face in their classes. The group work for the teachers helped to understand dynamics of team work, and the subject matter clarity at the same time.
